Proteome Database of Mouse Kidney and Fluorescence-Activated Cell Sorting (FACS) Sorted Distal Convoluted Tubule (DCT) cells _ TMT - labeled Protein Quantification with Low Na+ and High K+ Diets

This database contains proteins identified and quantified from mass spectrometry-based proteomic studies using purified mouse kidney DCT and total kidney lysates.

Experimental description:
Transgenic mice with expression of enhanced green fluorescent protein (eGFP) under the control of the parvalbumin promoter, resulting in specific eGFP-labeling of cells in the renal distal convoluted tubule (DCT), were maintained on low NaCl, high K+ or control diets for 4 days. DCT cells were isolated using fluorescence-activated cell sorting. Proteins were trypsin digested, TMT labeled and analyzed by liquid chromatography (easy nLC-1000) coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (QExactive). Data were searched using SEQUEST and Mascot against uniprot mouse database (dated 03/Feb/2017).
